Make an Appointment
The Clinical Oncology Service at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital sees new case appointments Monday-Thursday in the mornings. We do our best to accommodate all requests for appointments in a timely manner. Appointments are generally available within 2-3 days of the initial call. Emergency appointments are approved on a case by case basis. Both pet owners and referring veterinarians can make appointments for animals. Pet owners do not need a referral from their regular veterinarian to make the appointment or a histopathologic confirmed diagnosis of cancer. The fee for the initial visit for new patients is $123.00. This fee includes the physical exam, review of information you bring from your veterinarian, treatment options and detailed financial estimates for diagnostics and treatment. To make an oncology appointment, please call (970) 297-5000 and ask for the scheduling desk. They are available to make appointments M-F 8-4 pm.
